What is 412 Student Ministry?

The name "412" is based off of the scripture verse 1 Timothy 4:12 which says, Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity. This is our motto, our missions statement, our purpose. It is our goal, first and foremost to help students find and follow Jesus, but on top of that we want students to know that they are not just the church of tomorrow but they are the church of today as well. We want to see them helping other students find and follow Jesus. We accomplish that through the 3 areas below.

We want students to not only read the Bible but to learn live it out. We accomplish this through messages on Wednesday nights, small group discussions, Sunday School on Sunday mornings, various conferences through out the year and much more.
Part of being the church of today is being a part of the church. So we seek to empower students to serve in many ways. Whether it's through our own 412 service projects or being a part of our 412 Student Worship Band, or in some capacity on Sunday mornings we seek to serve Jesus by serving people.
Fun is a huge part of our ministry.  We believe it develops relationships. If you are not having fun, you aren't doing it right.  We have our serious times, but we have a lot of fun too!
